First
of all, I would like to thank you for your interest and support for this
company. Without people like you it would not be possible.
Because
of your interest, I felt you may like to know a little bit about Jewels for
Christ and what the purpose is of this business.
Jewels
for Christ started as a small business called Beads ‘n’ Things, a result of six
girls wanting to start a jewelry business. The jewelry we made and sold is very
similar to what you see here now, just not quite as good of quality!
After
a time, one after the other of the girls went off to their individual ventures,
and Beads ‘n’ Things became more of an expensive hobby, including jewelry made
with genuine pearls, crystals, and gemstones. Being the only girl left
interested in the business, I really began to pray and seek what the Lord’s
plan was for this business. Should I end it? What was the goal anyway?
Not
long after that, the Lord gave me the opportunity to make some jewelry for
Judson Baptist Camp’s gift shop. Once more, I changed the style of jewelry that
I made, and began a new journey.
At
the beginning of this year, I was challenged to spread my wings even more and
start making my jewelry available for other Christian Camps across the states.
I am very excited about the doors that the Lord has opened.
As I
was praying about broadening my business, the Lord gave me some direction and
insight that has helped me greatly in deciding the goal and extent of my
business.
Jewels for Christ jewelry is only
available for Christian Camps. I feel
that there are plenty of other people making jewelry out there to provide for
regular gift shops and individuals.
Jewels for Christ jewelry is made “as
unto the Lord”. God has directed me to do my absolute best in
putting forth my efforts to provide good quality jewelry at reasonable prices
to the Christian Camps spread across the states.
My business is also my ministry. As I
create the jewelry, I pray fervently for the people who will be wearing them,
and for the camps to which I am sending the jewelry. As I was establishing Jewels for Christ, I asked
the Lord how a simple jewelry business could be a ministry at the same time.
The Lord quickly began to show me the power of prayer, and that prayer itself is
a ministry. Now as I make the jewelry, my heart lifts up the people who would
be in any way connected with the jewelry and the camps that sell it. I know
that these camps are where many children and others make their decisions for
Christ, and I know that they need all the prayer that can be offered for them!
I
still consider myself to be a new business, and I would welcome suggestions,
prayers, and even criticism. I know there are always ways that I can improve,
and I want to do my best to honor the Lord with my handiwork.
Thank
you once again for your time, interest, and support. If you have any questions
or would like to make an order, please contact me!
Have
a blessed day in our Lord Jesus Christ!
Love in Christ,
Rebecca Tero
